When Your Brain Won’t Sit Still, Talk It Through

Smiling lightbulb points at question marks, symbolising verbal reasoning and ADHD brainstorming

Some of us don’t think in straight lines.

We jump. Circle. Spiral. Double back. Sometimes we land somewhere useful. Sometimes we get stuck in the loops.

Verbal reasoning helps. Not the academic kind. Just saying thoughts out loud so they stop crowding your head.

Why I Offer Brainstorming Sessions

Sometimes you don’t need a full coaching package. You need a space to think. Out loud. With someone who gets it.

That’s what these low-cost sessions are for. They work well for ADHD and autism, and anyone is welcome.

No pressure. No prep.

Just you, showing up with whatever’s rattling around in your head.

What Happens in a Session?

You bring the mess. I bring the space.

It’s flexible. Shaped by what you need. That might mean:

  • Untangling a tangle of half-formed thoughts
  • Getting a second brain on something you can’t quite name
  • Venting out loud until clarity appears
  • Asking for advice, or not
  • Talking yourself into a decision, while I quietly hold the edges

It’s not therapy. It’s not a pitch. It’s support.

What If You Want More?

If it clicks and you want to go deeper, there are 6- and 12-week coaching packages too.

Each includes:

  • Weekly sessions
  • Optional check-ins and accountability
  • Personalised written reflections with your insights, learning, and next steps

All online, or in person if you’re local to the North East.

Same grounded, honest vibe. No jargon. No scripts. Just useful structure.

Why Talking Works (Especially for ADHD)

ADHD brains often struggle with internal processing. You know something feels off, but can’t grab the thread.

Verbal reasoning is like tipping the drawer onto the table so you can finally see it.

  • It slows the swirl
  • It interrupts the perfectionist loop
  • It gets thoughts out of your head and into the world, where they can be shaped

And unlike writing, you don’t have to organise it first. You just start talking.

That’s often when things shift.

You Don’t Have to Tidy It Up First

I won’t ask you to be clear. Or “ready.”

You don’t need bullet points or a goal.

Bring your messy brain. That’s enough.

If it helps, keep going. If it doesn’t, no hard feelings.

Either way, you’ll leave with a little more clarity. Or at least a brain that feels less full.
